Glennwood Estates was platted in 1927, and the oaks planted then now shade eight streets between E. Ponce de Leon and Forkner. Many houses here are approaching their hundredth birthday with their original brick and granite intact.
The neighborhood
Our streets are E. Ponce de Leon, Glendale, Glenn Circle, Pinecrest, Mt. Vernon, Forkner, Old Decatur Circle, and Glenn Court. The Triangle, our small green at the heart of the neighborhood, hosts the Halloween party each fall and a steady rotation of neighbors, dogs, and strollers the rest of the year.
